Introducing the Natural Glow skincare range, available exclusively at Aqua Sana

A five-year journey in the making, the Natural Glow skincare range marks Aqua Sana’s very first own brand line of beauty products. The collection is made up of five key products; a cleanser, toner, face polish, moisturiser and serum, engineered to stimulate collagen and elastin production, acting as a natural facelift whilst also balancing skin tone and closing pores.

Key ingredients in the collection

Rice bran oil: The use of rice in skincare dates back centuries and traces its roots to Japan. Rice bran oil is rich in Vitamins B, E and F, squalene, ferulic acid and oleic acid. It also contains Gamma-oryzanol, an antioxidant which promotes circulation, reduces puffiness and evens out skin tone.

As rice is milled, bran (the layer lying under the chaff) is removed, harvested and pressed to obtain the oil. By harvesting this waste product, beauty-lovers can enjoy the myriad benefits of rice brain oil – most notably, its ability to penetrate skin cells to keep them plump and firm, reducing the signs of ageing and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Other benefits include excellent hydrating qualities, leaving skin feeling smooth and supple.

Rice water: Packed full of amino acids, antioxidants and minerals, rice water helps maintain elasticity, brightens skin and evens out skin tone. The starch content of rice water also supports the skin barrier, preventing skin from becoming dry and vulnerable to skin conditions such as eczema. Rice water is credited with leaving workers in Japan’s sake factories with perfectly smooth hands - using rice water on your face can help reduce oiliness and protect skin from pimples and acne.

Vanilla and white flower: The range is scented with vanilla and white flower, a delicate fragrance that often triggers happy memories for people – some find it reminds them of childhood, while others say it reminds them of a new-born baby. The scent of vanilla elevates the mood and promotes a sense of wellbeing, as well as feelings of relaxation and a sense of grounding.

The Natural Glow range is organic, free from parabens, cruelty-free, vegan-friendly, and made in Bath using ingredients sourced in the UK, with packaging made of recycled glass and recycled plastic.
